A few nights ago I was lucky enough to attend the U2 concert in Jersey (it was AMAZING!!!). I am a huge music fan and love nothing more than spending an evening out, watching live music, with good friends. Summer is just not complete without hitting a few outdoor concerts or festivals and getting the chance to experience the wave of total happiness and tranquility that live music brings out in crowds of people.
Aside from the music, I also love concerts because there is perhaps no better venue in which to “people watch”. These shows tend to bring out some very interesting characters and some very edgy style. Personally, I think you can get away with pretty much any look you want at a concert. So why not change it up a bit from your norm and take a risk?
Try some heavy metal jewelry. Or bring out your haute hippie side in fringe suede booties. An outdoor venue could not be a better runway to rock the trend of the season; colourful denim cutoffs. Over-sized, dark sunnies are a key component for the rocker chic look. And whatever you do…do not forget to tie on a skull print silk scarf to pull the outfit together.
Happy concert season fashionista’s!!

A good friend of mine (aka”little sis”) recently asked me to scope out a pair of stellar soles for her to wear while walking down the aisle. Perhaps one of the biggest days in a woman’s life, a wedding is her time to shine; to look and feel beautiful. What better way to help the bride-to-be feel fabulous, then to find the perfect heel to bring out her inner confidence. The right shoe will give any woman the confidence she needs to walk down a runway…..even if it is on her way to the altar.
I personally have never been the girl who spent her whole life dreaming of her wedding. I have however, been the girl who spent my whole life dreaming of the shoes I would wear to my wedding. (Yes, I know what they are. No, I am not telling). And so, this mission to find the perfect shoe for my little sis could not be more perfect! The only issue is - how do you decide? There are SO many amaze shoes out there right now. Every pair unique in its own right. From shiny to sparkly, high to low, blue to black, lace to leather, snakeskin to suede. These shoes are sure to be the icing on the cake for any brides dream wedding.
Ultimately the decision is up to her. Guess I will just have to wait and see what she picks so I can scoop up the pairs she leaves out. You know what they say, “if the shoe fits….”.
